quite an eventful week last week... hehe..

started off with friday when to a karaoke session competition for another site.. then drank too much.. then sat never go to work.. haha... friday evening also met up with reina at far east for dinner.. just nice i was in the area and she was there.. comtemplating whether to cut her hair.. she like say for many years that she wanna cut lor... hehe...

sat afternoon went out with collegues for movie and drinks... saw the movie "i know who killed me".. quite a boring show... then mi collegue drop her hp when we were all playing arcade.. sucks sia..

sun went to help mi collegue fix her comp.. then pick up another collegue to go buy lappie from sim lim lor... not bad the deal of the lappie.. 1.2k for it... after that went to mustafa to buy hp to replace the hp she lost... then watch the rat-a-to-ee.. i think i spelt correctly bah... the movie not bad.. just that the 1st 30mins i doze off liao... ahah.. too tired le bah..

just now went joggin... still pull up no improve.. sucks.. still stuck at 10.. need to invest in those pull up bar that can fixed to door frame liao... must practise more.. anyone got idae where can get...

upcoming events... this sat is meixin wedding.. and monday is mi friend wedding.. next sat is mi hall DnD... poor poor poor... still waiting for mi credit card statement... think quite high i believe...

tonight i went jogging!! haha.. .1st time hopefully not my last time... in i think 1 year... so shiok think jog continously for 30mins.. then walk the remaining 15mins... bo pian lah.. ippt window gonna close soon.. 5th of nov the closing date.. havent book my ippt yet.. so train a bit first bah... feels good though.. hope i can jog every alternate night.. hope nothing ties mi down at work sia...

last thurs was the ktv session.. its held at KBOX at cineleisure level 8.. the lounge room or something like that.. cos its very big inside.. combi with another 2 sites.. we are to choose 3 representative to participate in our Woh Hup Idol competition during the 80th anniversary dinner... not bad that night had fun... after the representatives were chosen.. then its free for all liao.. singing and drinking lor.. end up got home at 2am sia.. shag sia...

yesterday got dragonboat competition with other sites.. meet up at kallang water sports center at 12pm like that.. then got some warm up session then play some games.. then its the actual competition.. knn.. lost both rounds.. end up last position sia.. the 4th position.. lousy... haha...

after that went for dinner at riverside indonesia restaurant.. ate dinner then went off with some collegues to boat quay to drink... finished a bottle of martell liao.. then around 12+ change venue and drink again... got hm at 4am.. haha.. knn.. they jio mi next fri to go their ktv competition so that can drink again... bad for mi liver sia...

xin wedding on 15th of sept... i got another friend wedding on 17th sept.. this month so gonna be poor liao sia...but congrats to them lah... so nice to be able to settle down liao... thinknig wat to wear on that day ah... hmmm...

i got my letter from Building Control Act i.e. BCA... i am approved as a Resident Engineer liao... thus able to become wat mi ex-collegue do.. and earn more $$ next time... haha.. just open up another route for work bah..

mi mother bought the 881 orginal soundtrack... haha.. the songs are nice.. all of ya out there havent watch the movie die die must go ah!!!

another week had just pass... another week of work which comprising of scolding, chasing, casting and inspections had pass... shall not elaborate more on mi work cos its the same old thing everytime.. haha.. but at least now we moving up to level 3 soon wor... Basement 2 took 3.5 months to complete and Basement 1 took 3.5 months to complete too.. of cos the work is concurrently but its a bit aheaed of schedule which is good... but still not good enough as usual..

been drinking on monday at kopitiam at clemnti with mi ex collegue.. then tuesday went to drink with mi seniors.. nowadays feel that martel with hot water not bad.. ahha... but SOMEONE comment that its a old man drink.. dont care.. i like can liao.. really in this industry, with the stress accummulated and such, drinking does temporary numb ya mind and forget bout things.. for that few hours ya dont need to think bout anything and just let ya mind relax and 'enjoy' the intoxication bah.. plus alcohol does sometimes makes ya say things that you do not dare or want to say if ya sober.. oh well.. its good to say things out and shall see how things go...

anyway yesterday met up with reina and went for makan and shopping.. ate jap food and walk around orchard.. the stupid gal not enough sleep and eventually look like zombie.. haha... but good lah.. long time no meet up liao.. plus next week she going bkk AGAIN~~ foresee gonna be broke when she back.. haha..

been sometime that i went to orchard also.. cos its either work at boon lay or home at tampines.. quite a few changes wor.. for start now out of mrt cannot turn right into wisma liao.. had to go up and walk in from the main road.. then neaere far east then also.. there is a building been demolish liao... haha.. really out of touch le..

then after that cos reina wanna meet other friend liao.. thus i wanted to go meet up with mi jc vball idiots haha.. then junxian call and wanan go in JB thus went in with hafidz too lor... sorry guys and gals that i missed the stemaboat and KTV i presume.. hehe... another time okie..

dont knwo i got tell ya plp b4.. i heard of a phase not sure whether ya all will agree with mi mah... in ya life ya will at least meet up with 3 gals.. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SITE ENGINEER

0630-0700.. wake up.. wash up.. father send mi to tampines mrt

0700-0810..reach site.. late.. by right should reach at 0800.. but have to take train to pasir ris in order to secure a seat.. knn.. then concuss all the way to boon lay.. whole trip take 1 hr

0810-0840.. then find out wats the inspection schedule.. visit the toilet.. smoke the first cig of the day.. pray to 'guan yu'.. then go on site..

0840-1140.. all the way on site.. 'enjoying' the sun, dust, ocassionally rain.. go for inspection.. settle problems on site pertaining to discrepencay or mistakes.. arrange inspection with Clerk of Work i.e C.O.W.. do pre inspection.. fu$ker chinamen never do things properly AS USUAL.. need to ask them to do things.. settle problems between my indian assistant engineer and chinaman.. push for progress.. see where is urgent etc..

1140-1300.. lunch.. then sleep in the office.. normally for 30-45mins

1300-1900.. site again.. on and off come back to find archi or structural coordinator to clarify drawings.. then give to chinaman.. then solve problems again.. then liase with C.O.W and chinaman.. then clear inspection... casting.. kenna scold by senior for any mistakes..etc..

1900-1930.. makan dinner which is order by the company.. then got time see a bit of drawing or nua.. cos too tired liao..

1930 to 2100 or even 2200.. then leave site.. took 1.5hr to reach home.. roughly reach home around 10+ on average.. then bathe.. nua on bed.. watch a bit of drama series.. then sleep...

this will repeat for 6 days.. sometimes on sunday also working.. though recently reduce liao... really no social life wor... thats why sunday is always precious to mi wor.. cos its the only rest time.. did i mention the fu#cker chinaman will call mi on sunday morning to solve any problem... even though my indian assistant engineer is on site.. knn...

tonight... was walking along the road to mi friend car for dinner.. .knn.. knock by a bicycle coming from behind.. the impact cause mi to hop for a few steps lah.. off balance.. lucky never fell down cos its on the road... no cars also.. but got some scratches on mi toes cos wearing slippers... must go pray more liao.. 7th lunar month liao... must not be unlucky sia.. hehe...

upcoming events.. 23rd aug got a street soccer gathering for engineers from all sites and play with mi young boss... 1st sept got dragon boat event orgainsed by company.. 5th oct.. company 80th anniversary.. got D&D at some hotel i forgot where liao...

been another busy week wor... time does fly pass fast...

nowadays ah.. if i meeting friends or wat.. norm i would take taxi there or back.. cos i have this thinknig.. $$ i can earn back but a day only 24 hrs lor... rather spend more $$ and i can come back sleep more.. i dont mind that lor...

anyway the national day message by PM Lee say that growth forecast will be raised to 7%-8% from the orginal 5%-7% leh... good.. hope it will maintain this way as long as possible lor.. someone told mi the highest growth came from construction industry lor.. of cos lor... now mi company got 11 sites ongoing.. plus a few more tendering.. plus all the IRs and civil works.. definitely will enjoy growth but once IRs all finished by then will slowly go down again liao...

Wednesday.. junxian, hafidz and lijun came mi house to play mahjong lor... actually wanan go in JB that day but then too much things to settle at work hence never go in lor... went to NYDC orchard there to eat.. then cross the road and drink a glass outside the ndyc there lor... whole night lost $2.. hafidz lost $15.. lijun no win no lose.. the bugger junxian won all lor..

Thursday.. went in JB with junxian.. went to buy oakley lenses.. ahha.. went holiday inn there to buy.. spend bout $274 for a pair of oakley frame with precription lenses lor... so happy.. haha..

been sooooo long to blog hor... busy lately(wats new)

last friday is mi convocation.. finally grad liao... haha... the 1st Uni grad from mi father and mother side... they should be so proud.. even though i took half year more.. haha.. shall post pics in due time...

This week is mi hall orientation camp.. went back on monday night and wednesday night... not bad lah... quite a good number of freshies... hope that they can carry on with the hall stuffs...

benson, a fellow hall friend.. took his car back just now... he kept asking mi how come still single.. no one in mi workplace can make it meh... basket... 99% of the ppl there are guys... I'm NOT GAY.. and 1% of the gals are either married.. with children or just dont have the feeling.. haha..

so long no update liao hor... so much things happen these while...

Genting trip from 6th to 8th

after work on fri then took the bus from kitchener road to genting... sat quite a nice bus.. got personal lcd tv.. watch dont know wat stupid movie.. haha.. then slept the whole trip liao... reach bout 5am like that... then cannot check in hence hit the casino.. haha.. to have a look lor... quite interesting 1st time go to genting casino... play a bit of jackpot.. no play the table games.. cos no $$.. then went for some bowling then add breaksfast at mac..

forgot to mention i went genting with mi hall mates lor.. plus 2 gals who are friends of my hall mates..

over the next 2 days.. its always casino, makan.. never really go play other stuffs.. wanna see movie.. the cinema full liao.. wanna play bumper cars but the cars like no power one.. no fun..

anyway we make a conclusion.. the food at genting sucks... the marry brown like use previous night chicken, pizza hut the service is lousy plus food also lousy... think only kfc and mac is relatively good..

then sun took the 1530 bus back... well done is that it started raining at 1500.. seems a bit scary cos going downhill.. i do not wanna reach the bottom of the hill in a few secs.. but lucky nothing happen.. but so fun is that it was cold hence when ya breathe out.. ya can see the smoke from the mouth.. hehe...

then its a 8hrs trip back to singapore sia.. super tired when reach home at midnight plus.. then next day is work work work.. haha...

hey... nan de mi back so early.. reach home at 745pm... woohoo... haha... ya know why.. cos i gonna study for mi exam tml.. Building Constrcution Safety Supervisor Course..attended 10 lessons liao.. then tml 2-4pm is the exam.. at freaking baradell area lah... sucks... i stay tampines.. morning go boon lay work then lunch time go down to baradell.. but at least after that i'm free.. muahah.. can go dating liao... haha...

but very lazy to study leh... 100mcq question and 50% is passing liao... but still must study lah.. cos i skip 4-5 lessons out of 10 liao.. haha... where got ppl working liao still need to study... boohoo...

hehe.. i'm back after 4 days wor... been busy and tired lor...

a lot of things happen at work which is quite techincal to explain.. but just to know that its more work can liao.. haha.. young boss came yesterday and treat the site ppl to lunch and inform us that the pay increment in july will be slightly above market rate... so can i hope for $200 increase for mi!! haha... if so i would be very happy liao... means every mth $160 bucks more to spend... a collegue of mine is going to tender his resignation tml.. cos got better offer outside.. offering him $5k like that as RE position.. he's 30 this years means work for 4-5 years liao.. shiok

i am aiming for oakley specs with transistion lenses.. think will amount to $500+.. ex sia.. anyone got lobang or know where is cheap.. anyway chris and fidz was saying its quite worth it... next weekend 6,7,8 going to genting with mi hall idiots.. haha.. fri night going off via bus then reach singapore on sun night bah... long long time never go liao.. dont know got wat changes...

today sucks sia.. haiii.. early morning kenna scolded for poor housekeeping on site.. but its really not up to standard lah.. so take it lor... but still push us for safety, quality, progress and site control... knn.. those bloodly china man also one kind.. ask them to do stuffs ah drag here and there.. til boss come and say then do... haiii... end up b4 lunch totally no mood to work liao...

then evening time kenna one more round.. haii.. wanna go meet friends for dinner also cannot make it liao... sucks... then kept mi thinking.. everyday good things also say bad things also say... sit down and talk it out with another collegue.. he thinking of going to be RE ( Resident Engineer) which currently with experience can demand 5k and above.. but he tell mi firstly mi company has good reputation thus if got experience other similar companies would be willing to employ.. secondly this project if can finished it would be good for mi resume cos 250 million project lor...

end up.. just bite it and endure another 1 year for structural works if stay for architectural work then another 1.5 years lor... bo pian.. no experience and still got a backside of loans... haha.. plus i still wanna get mi 1st credit card.. muahahah

now wondering if sat can take off mah.. must see friday liao... then at least can go relax, see some movie, eat good stuff, go out with mei nu~~ hehe...

okie lah.. enough grumbling.. sleep time back to work again tml... anyway a quote.. if ya can find motivation to wake up every morning for work means ya still like the work, if ya cant wake up means time to change the job...

hey ppl.. welcome to mi blog.. haha... l0ng time ago got had a blog.. but lazy to maintain.. hopefully this blog can go for long.. haha..
anyway wanna thanks siewx for helping mi with this blog html wor... keke... if not ah... use the default template so boring sia... keke... but i still dont know how to add shout box or comments ah... can anyone tell mi?? hehe..

i do hope this blog can let ppl who seldom meet up with mi due to mi work committment to know at the very least how am i liao... basically i know a lot of ppl wanna meet up with mi.. haha.. but i everyday work til 10-11+ how to meet up with ppl sia... think mi social life and circle of friends are diminishing liao sia... saded!! but wat to do sia... for the passion of the work and also $$ lah...
